Any ideas what she is? I've been told lots of different things, the latest being a rosy rat.

As I have said before I am rubbish at morphs, but I can understand why you might think she is a rosy rat....but it doesnt look quite right, she seems too colourful.
I do wonder about a Hypo Okeetee, because of the white banding around her saddles.....but I am not sure what the ventral scales look like for a Hypo Okeetee.
But to be honest my best guess would be a normal/carolina. There is a pic very like her on iansviv (5th pic down on the right of pics loaded by members).
But I know that you will be told what she definitely is soon, by someone who knows what they are talking about!

I'm not so convinced, i think it may be a Rosy rat/Keys corn, or possibly a normal/Carolina. |

The first pic is a normal hypo, hypo is short for hypomelanistic, means reduced black basically, see the belly checkers are not solid and are washed out, key sign of a hypo. As far as I am aware the rosy rat is exactly that, its no more a corn thatn a great plains, they look similar, almost the same infact, sometimes the only way to 100% be sure of the snake is a scale count, especially the head as the formations of scales are different. |

Thats a nice little tip about the belly checkers mike.
In reference to the text bolded -
Keys Corn or Rosy Rat Snake A normal phase from the Florida Keys. Once thought to be a seperate species, but now re-classified as a true corn snake. Smaller in size to other corns, it has a golden background colour with blotches ranging from dark crimson to bright orange.
So technically still a corn snake, as i said in a previous post it was reclassified. |

It looks from the picture that a rosy rats head may be a little bigger and more distinguished from the neck compared to other corns. |

I'd just say it was a normal Corn to be honest. The wild types have a lot of natural variation. |

I think it's a orange, yellow and white snake.
I am clueless when it comes to morphs, so that how I describe them. Anerys are 'grey ones', snows are 'white ones' normals are 'orange ones'. I know what I'm on about then.
You also have the 'pale grey ones', 'orange ones with lines on it' and so on.

I didn't mean amel - I am a sponk. I meant hypo.
To be fair I bought her because she looked lovely, and because I fell in love with her. I never started to think about morphs etc until the beginning of this year, so I have been looking as much as I can up, but it's still a little confusing. |

She is gorgeous though no need to worry what she is i would have her if you don't want her i wouldn't say no but i would class her as either a keys corn or normal hypo. |
