I was just wondering what sort of thing would be suitable to sue as a 'feeding area'. What I mean is I'd like a bowl or something in her tank to put her food in when she eats...but I'm unsure of what to go for there wasn't much selection in my local pet shop. I would search the internet but I think it's better to get advice from the experts first :) |

mine get fed on the lids from their fauns, and my king gets fed in a 18l rub, you could just use a dinner tray or something |

you might want it so that its big enough for the snake to get at least half into..i know my king would roll his mouse round in the aspen - given the chance he would probably try and burrow with it..daft thing |

I put a towel on top of a tray out in the open so I can get a good view of mine feeding. Afterwards I can gently carry them back to their vivs on the towel. |

Are you wanting to keep her feeding in the viv Korn or are you wanting to start feeding outside the viv?
Before I learnt enough I used to feed Kellog in his viv, with nothing covering the substrate....but I now feed both outside their vivs, on towels on the floor, then lift them gently back into their vivs. Did originally feed Silvesta in a RUB but he was so feisty trying to get him out afterwards. I know I could have just tipped him back in, but I wanted him to get used to feeding in the open anyway, so this gave me the reason to try it and it works well.
I know some people put a tile down on the substrate or a sheet of paper to cover it....but there is always that risk that the snake will drag the prey off the covering and even into its hide, therefore onto the substrate.
