I have been trying to work out what's gonna be the best pairing for what I have, annoyingly there are some I am not sure on hets! Anyways, here's the plan.
Butter motley 2 butter motley + (ghost)
Anery hurricane het amel 2 anery motley, snow stripe, high white amel
Crimson 2 crimson
Amel 2 metallic
Hypo bloodred 2 het lav, (ghost)
Ultra 2 hypomel
Metallic 2 sunglow
Metallic 2 metallic
Hypo 2 metallic

The ghost I am not sure about, mr hurricane is a bit of a rapist, so should be over the moon with his ladies!
The snow stripe and het lav are just under 300g so need a bit of feeding up, but should be ok.
What do you reckon?

sounds ok to me..
although i have to ask if the offspring to the Metallic x Hypo, Sunglow & Amel will have more of a corn appearance than the metallic jungles.. does that make sense? or another way of me asking is.. will they look less like a hybrid and more like a corn?
should get some cute hatchlings from those pairings

I am hoping that when these metallics were bred he did it with an amel, or his snow, soat the very best I might get amel metallics, unless one proves to be het anery too, so might even get snow metallic! Fingers crossed
The metallics, to be honest I don't know, I am hoping I get some babies that are more metallic than corn, out of all the pairings with metallic, other than metallic to metallic, I will be keeping a pair from each clutch, ones that show the most 'metallic' then I will breed them to hopefully bring out the hets, so hypo metallic and amel metallic, should be, hopefully interesting. I think all the babies I produce are going to carry hets, so some I will be keeping back, like babies from the butter 2 ghost, metallic to hypo and amel. I will also keep back a pair of baby hypo het lav bloodreds.
I wanted to do bloodred butters too, but only have 1 female butter!
Maybe next year! If I keep the corns!
But then next year my ultramel anery motley and pewter will be ready! So more possibilities!

i'd be very tempted to put the hypo bloodred with a ghost and keep some babies for a ghost bloodred (or hypo granite whichever you prefer!) project.
Also your Ultra would be good with the butter motley or snow stripe (or both!) again keeping some babies for goldust motley or ultramel anery stripe projects :)

good luck!

That was the other option, put the bloodred to the ghost, the bloodred is also het anery, so would get visual ghosts het bloodred.
The butter motleys i want to do as a pair, i like them and they sell well. I am not sure the ultra would do well with both, hes still small ish, just under the 3 mark, and is 2.5 years old, i wouldnt want him firing blanks! I will stick to the one with him for now.
The snow stripe i wanted to put to the hurricane cos hes anery het amel, and last year he produced an awesome amel hurricane, which unfortunatley died soon after hatching.

Well, everyone fed last night, a largeish fluff each, get the juices going again!
Be on to large mice at the wkend! I must say, we had some very eager beavers there! The butter motleys were savage! The little het lav had to be asked twice, but once I took it away from her she obviously decided not to risk it running away again! So should be Tuesday or weds next week before I pair them up.
Everyone bar the snow stripe and the het lav have kept good weights, these 2 need more feeding before breeding. The snow stripe is a bit fussy, I had to get her excited with a live mouse before she took defrost. The mouse is ok! For now anyway!

Righto, I put the hypo bloodred with the ghost last night, took all of about 30 seconds to get a lock, the metallic pair were at it this morning and the butters have been together for a week or so but I haven't seen a lock yet. The snow stripe, anery motley and the 2 hypo het lavs won't be bred as they are not big enough, well the anery motley is 450g, but skinny still, but is eating rat weaners so weight should go on quickly! I got pics of the blood and ghost, will post up later!

The bloodred is het anery, so in theory should be ghost het bloodred and a mixture or hypos, anerys, its not impossible for the ghost to be het bloodred, never know!

Fantastic pics Mike, especially for those of us who have never (and probably will never) had the experience of breeding. Think the pics are made even more stunning with the amazing contrast in the colour of the 2 snakes.

Cant wait to see the result of that pairing - hope you get what you want! A bloodred ghost would even tempt me !

Lol, yeah snake porn! Ha ha.
The bloodred is only just coming up to 3 yrs old, still quite small, the ghost is huge tho, 4.5ft and prob about 600g!
The results from the pairing will be ghosts het bloodred and hypos het anery bloodred, unless ofcourse she is het bloodred, which is not impossible!
I have another interesting combination, I have borrowed a mates t+ albino, I wanted to put him to a snow but my snow stripe is too small still, so am gonna put him to the hypomel, will deffo be keeping some babies back from those!
