Photos from Little Croc's dinnertime today- very successful indeed!! He had 1 rat pup and 1 mouse fuzzy, and then struck at me 3 times when I dared to move.
He is certainly turning into a little handful!
(For anyone that hasn't seen this snake before, he is a rescue which is why he is so thin- he is very well looked after!!)

I can't believe how much he has to stretch to get the fuzzy in his mouth, poor little thing.
Great that he is doing well with you. |

i'm sure his temperament will settle when he's back up to weight, my teeny weeny caramel was pretty feisty till she'd had a few months of decent feeding after being on a maintenance diet for 2 years, she was small but not skinny so i think it'll take at least a couple of months for little croc
and congrats on the feeding hun |

SB - that is so good to see, thank you so much for putting up the pics for us all to see.
It really does show how thin he is in the first pic, when you see him stretching his mouth for the rat pup and compare it with his neck....shocking really.
You are doing a great job with him and it shows with him feeling feisty enough to strike at you 3 times. GP knows what she is talking about (ok, that didnt really need saying ) and I am sure that once he is not feeling so starving and has got the chance to settle down properly....then you can really begin the job of 'taming' him.
