hey and welcome

tbh i personally have no experience with new hatchlings but im guessing you separate them soon and wait for them to shed before feeding - im sure someone with more experience will help you more

:-) well I think they're butterscotch (thats what i was told anyway)
its almost the end of summer here in south africa and its her second clutch this year. Unfortunately the power went out on the first clutch and they folded. Electricity hasn't been very reliable over the past year or two. Pictures to come!

Hello and Welcome!

Im fairly new to snakes and snake breeding is way over my head- I could tell you how to foal down your mare if you had one! HAHA!

Where abouts in SA are you?
Theres a few people on here who have connections to that part of the world!

Thanx all :-)
i love friendly forums!
Wow nails, 50 chickens, thats a lot. I have rhode island reds and buff orpingtons. Starting breeding this week, so hopefully I'll have some chicks soon. Also waiting on my beardie eggs, they'll be just under a month!
Busy times.

Welcome to the forum Jade (and your snakes and hatchlings)! This is a great forum with lots of experienced owners happy to give their advice and support. You also get lots of fun and friendship .

Unfortunately I know nothing about breeding and hatchlings, so I cant help you....although I am surprised you havent looked into it before they hatched. As GP said, check out the breeding section to see if it can help. First place to look is in the top right hand corner of the screen where there is a search button...type in what you are worried about and see if you can find an answer, if not then dont hesitate to ask! Remember that no question is regarded as a silly question .....it is much better asked and answered, you will probably find others who want the info too!

Unwritten forum rule - pics as soon as possible! This link will help - http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=14. We especially want pics of your newborns....as most of us havent seen any before.

Again, sorry for not being able to help with your hatchlings, but am glad you have joined us on the forum....you are very welcome !

xxx
