There is a topic in DIY section about preparing wooden sticks etc for the vivarium.
Can you use any sticks that you find in a forest etc?
Is there any wood that you cant use?

They look like just normal branch wood off a tree from a woodland or forest.  |

Any reason?
Ive just been stick hunting and got a really nice looking piece, similar to one in your photos. It was in a forest with loads of pine trees though, so im guessing its pine.

Its the same reason you can't use sawdust or Hamster shavings for substrate.
I'm not sure whether it will ever be safe, I wouldn't risk it myself personally. |

I loved it, we went across a country park near mine, its about a 5 mile sqaure, lol.
My missus wasnt too chuffed after an hour of walking and not knowing where we were...
She is 38 weeks pregnant, lol.

Lol, i asked her if she wanted to risk it and she said yeh. I would of made a home delivery if need be, haha.
To be honest she is fairly certain she is going to go over her due date, i dont know how she knows but she says its a woman thing, lol.
