I put a post on earlier today, asking the best way to feed Wizard, after taking your advice, i got rid of the substrate and replaced with kitchen towel, got the Pinkie ready and wham first strike Wizard took the pinkie, we all watched in fasination as it went down with ease, pop the lid back on the viv and left him to it.
Thank you for the advice, made the first feed so easy and stress free for me and for Wizard. |

glad it went so well
just noticed how many chickens you have.. wow! i have one chicken bless her and she was forever escaping and now the police think we live on a working farm even though we live in the middle of a villagey thing right on the main road.. lmao |

just a note..you dont have to take out all the substrate in the viv if you are feeding in the viv..you can just cover it over with newspaper or something so that none of it can be injested

I found Slinx first feed very stressful!

i would "borrow" them because i love chickens and want some ha! but i live on a main road, with a pants back garden and live where people would steal/hurt them .. so i can't have any 
aw i would love to have some banty girlies .. arg to cirumstances!! lol

| Only since March 2009, they are a bit like snakes you get one and then a few more come along, very addictive, the ex batt girlies were our first, and thats how we started, and its gone on from there, 24 ex batts have now turned into breeding trio's, and incubator for hatching our own eggs and so it goes on, not that i am thinking of breeding from the corn or the python!!!! but i did look at another corn today when i popped into Water Marque to get a digi thermometer for the Pythons viv. was very tempted to get one but they wanted £20 more than what i had paid for the first one! And they apparently come from the place i got Wizard from originally, so when i do get another i will go back to the same place as they were really helpful. |
