how much would you say and amel pied sided would b. my local rep shop a couple of months ago got given a 10 week old pied sided amel and they were selling it for £100. i never saw it but if i had it would be mine know. apparently though wen someone wasn't lookin someone niked it. . could kill that person.

£100 sounds a good price, they're still rare.

PMSL!!!!!! you need a new reptile shop ;)

Pied sided is as far as we know linked to diffused because nobody has produced a pied without diffused being homozygous.

This would mean that the 'pied sided amel' they had would be at LEAST a Pied Sided Fire - which to my knowledge hasn't been produced yet (or not in great numbers anyway).

Then take into consideration that a good Pied Sided Bloodred will set you back upwards of £500 with the best examples still nearer the £1000 mark (WITHOUT it being a Fire too), you can safely assume that your local shop are talking out of their backsides ;)

thats y i check with you guys. they are a shop and wil say anything to get me to buy from them. you guys will give me the truth. the shop have now told me two lies so i don't think i will be asking them for advice, i will only buy my crickets from them.

everybody has an opinion and 'facts' (yes even me!! ), you just need to wade through the rubbish to get to the real hard info whether that's in shops, forums, down the pub ot where ever......
