YESSSSS!!! I did it guys, I finally plucked up enough courage to pick up cecil. and here's the pic to prove it

ok so I chickened out abit and wore rubber glove's in the hope that he wouldn't be able to smell my sunday dinner on them.

Scott, I love the backdrop to your viv!

Also, if you go to handle him again, and he gets ready to strike, a wee tip I've picked up from the guys in my local pet shop is to move your left hand, with open palm, towards your corn's face, and then pick up the body with your right, all done with confident movements. It makes your hand less difficult to bite. I'd only do this if there was a very high chance of your corn striking though, as I suppose a giant hand coming towards his face might be a bit stressful.

As for the background just did a google image search for jungle pictures and then printed a few off.

congrats mate. When i first got Angelina out i put her on my bed, you can keep and eye on them but they can also roam around. You'll get used to picking your snake up aswell
