When I am looking up Corn snakes I keep coming up with things like CB08 or CB09, is this the year the hatchling was born? If so, what does the CB stand for? Certificate of Birth or something?

Regards
Mick

CB stands for Captive Bred, and yes the 08 and 09 is the year it was born.

You may also see these as well.

WC = Wild Caught
LTC = Long Term Captive
CBB = Captive Born & Bred

I believe there is one for farmed snakes as well, I think it is CF for Captive Farmed.
