1: What's you general husbandry like??
2: How big are the snakes? 3: Roughly how old are they? 4: How long have you had them? 5: What are they eating? 6: How often are they eating? 7: How big is the Faun/Viv? 8: What 'bedding' do you use? 9: How many hidey holes are inside the faun/viv? 10: How is it heated? 11: How is the heat regulated?
Sorry for all the questions, but without a bit more info, it's hard to start trying to help. |

the snakes are just over a foot long,, they are 3 and a half months old. ive had them 3 months, and they are eating pinkys although their appetite has gone down. at the mintute they are being fed once a week alothough they only eat half of the food. the viv is too big atm but they are in a smaller tank that i was advised to have. the bedding is aspin i think. they have a cave and leaves in the viv but they also go under the water bowl. it is heated by a heat mat and a heat lamp. the heat is controlled by a dial at the back and i was told to turn it down a fed degrees at night time. sorry if my answers are a bit vauge. |

have you got a stat for your mat? if you havent you should buy one as it regulates the temp and keeps it at the right levels.. you dont really need a heat lamp.. if the mat and stat are working properly then the heat lamp will just be making it too hot you dont need to turn it down at night.. the air around will naturally go down anyway so it may be getting too cold half the food? a whole pinkie should be fine for them, make sure they have two hides, one in the cool end and one it the warm end, the heat mat should be covering about a third of the tank, really they should be being fed every 5/6days at that age..
hope this helps |

How does your snake eat only half a pinkie? Sounds like a weird question, but does it bite through the pinkie halfway through feeding? How is your remaining snake? Still lethargic? xxx |
