12:30 UK time, NASA are crashing a used rocket stage, followed by a survey craft, into the moon hoping to find evidence of water (in ice form) in the crater at the south pole.

Interesing stuff NasaTV, I watch the shuttle launches live when they're on, nothing better than watching launches through a camera attached to the fuselage of a solid-booster. |

OK, that wasn't as good as it was hyped to be, I was expecting at least a small flash.
OK, about 2 hours to receive better imaging and data from the 'mother ship' |
