Fianlly, after what seems to have been an age, Porphyria shed last night! She certainly took her time though; I'd had her 5 weeks already before she started to show signs of getting ready to shed and has took a good 10 days from going into blue. Womans prerogative to keep me waiting I guess . Anyways, I'm relieved to see her out and about again and happy in the knowledge that her first shed with me was a complete one with no problems! Measured the shed at 17 inches, which would make her somewhere around 15.5 inches if my maths is correct!

Glad it has finally happened, it is great when it does - even better if you get to witness it! Bet Porphyria looks beautiful now, looking forward to seeing some up to date pics. Any plans for your first ever full shed snake skin?? xxx
