Just wanted to check, during this first week, we are just changing the water for Milo. Do we need to worry about doing that too often or should we do anything else? currently he is just in his hide, but I am worried that we might be stressing him out still.
We haven't disturbed the hide or anything, but we got worried that he wasn't okay.

During the first week just change his water each day and smooth/fiddle with his substrate - always staying well away from him. It just gives him a chance to get used to your smell. Just give him time. xxx |

Hi Alicat, we're in the same position as you as I only got Twilight on Sunday. On the first morning, after I changed his water, I saw him come out to have a drink which was really cool and then last night he had a poo on top of the kitchen paper. I just gently lifted the paper with him on it, replaced it and gently tipped the paper he was on back towards his tub and he glided back in. It was lovely to see him but boy did I want to pick him up!!!
What day are you allowed to handle Milo? |

Yeah, as kellog stated, just change the water daily for a week, but otherwise just leave him to settle. |
