lol, the vast majority of our clients are great, but as with any job, there are some people you see arriving and immediately feel the need to cry

Glad you are feeling at least a little bit better! I know the feeling of pushing yourself when ill, nothing worse I have had throat infection/cold off and on for three months... funniest thing is that when I complained of feeling ill to my boss, he told me not to bother as he doesn't do 'Sickness' LOL. SO MUCH FOR SYMPATHY!

what a horrible boss! mine is sympathetic, but there is no such thing as time off when you work on a yard!

Sorry about your injured horses, what happened? I love riding and used to help out at Riding for the Disabled years ago - one of the best things I ever did...the way the horses used to play up with us but as soon as you put a disabled child on them they would immediately calm down and behave as though they carried precious cargo - which they did. Its the biggest thing I miss in my life now, my riding and being with horses...always smelt of horses *big sigh*.
Please rest today while you can, you need to get better for the horses sake (maybe I have finally found the right bribe to get you to behave!) xxx

we have had 2 horses come in from the same field with serious wire wounds to their hind legs, much bandaging and blood...

and I love working with Stuart (our special needs bloke) as he is such a breath of fresh air to have on the yard. he will try any job you have lined up for him with absolute glee, and always has a big beaming smile on his face, even though things havent gone well for him.

he really enjoyed his hack, though he did manage to fall off because he was laughing so much at our face-pulling contest... oops!
