Hey all-
for the third shed in a row, Casper has had skin left on the end of his tail. It has been removed immediately when I've noticed he's shed, but his tail has been left with a damaged tip, obviously from the blood flow being restricted. It appears to be quite angry and painful atm, but the nearest rep vet is around 4 hours away in Edinburgh. What can I do myself to ensure the tail can heal well, as its looking like he will lose it soon.

I agree clean it with tamodine (Alison can tell you how often) and put him on newspaper. |

| Use kithen roll for substrate to stop anything getting in the wound and use the tamodine daily |

| kitchen roll or newspaper for substrate (depending on the size of the enclosure) to keep the area clean, and Tamodine is specifically for reps, povidone-iodine scrub/solution is slightly different although i'm not sure how to be perfectly honest. |
