I am looking after a friend's corn (about two years old) while she is on holiday - and completely uncontactable. Unfortunately, tomorrow my landlord is coming round with an electrician to do some daft electrical testing or something, which apparently necessitates turning off the power for pretty much the whole day. Which obviously means no heat mat. Is this likely to be a serious problem? The forecast tomorrow is for highs of 22C and lows (presumably at night, by which time the power will be back) of 12.
All advice much appreciated. |

Agree that we sometimes treat our snakes as though they were made of china. They do have problems and because they are our pets and our responsibility (and we love them and hope they love us )we worry about them and do the best that we can for them. But they are tough and originated in the wild, able to survive the elements and lack of food for long periods - as I found out with Kellog! We are only human though so we worry...... xxx |
