Yep - I got the dreaded lurgey...or 'Slime Floo' as my 5 year old calls it! Came down with it on Tuesday. Am on Tamiflu and antibiotics for a secondary chest infection. Been pretty rough but feeling a lot better today so hopefully well on the way to recovering. Hope you've all had a good weekend - missed being on here but was too ill to move in the week Have I missed much??

I have my step-daughter, her other half and her two youngest staying with us at the moment. More support for her because her little boy (1) has got suspected swine flu as well.

I can partially relate to how you are Cherry-Milkshake, but you've got the advantage.
Imagine trying to get tamiflu tabs down a 1 year olds neck, after he already bit into one.

It's good to hear its not as bad as the media makes it out to be, and that people will get over it.

Awww, cheers for all the sympathy guys Have to say I'm feeling much better already, although I can tell this cough is gonna be a pig to shift - just glad I got it now tbh rather than in a couple of weeks when I go on holiday, hopefully I'll be fully recovered by then! Sorry to hear about your step-daughter's lil one Kehhlyr - must be a nightmare, and such a worry when they're so young - hope he gets better soon!

How are you now Cherry-Milkshake??

Mason is getting better, he ate something properly yesterday (MON) for the first time since last thursday.
He's getting better, but has figured out all the different ways we've been trying to get his meds down his neck.
We're hoping he hasn't passed it onto any of his brothers or sisters, but they seem fine at the moment *touches wood* so he should be clear of it pretty soon as well.

Sorry for belated reply hun - doing much better now thanks. It's been about a week and a half and I'm fine to go out and get on with things again. I've still got the remnants of a cough but other than that pretty much back to normal. How's your little guy doing now?? Did any of the others get it in the end? My mate, unfortunately, had come up to stay the week I came down with it and she got it, but funnily enough my kids nor my partner did. She's taken it back down to Oxford with her now, so if anybody lives down that way, my sincerest appologies

Thanks for all the well wishes guys
xx
