Hello everyone, I'm new to the site and have had my corn snake for about 14 months now, his name is Reg and he's a beauty but hey he is mine!! Lol. I'm a bit concerned about him this evening as he has always fed on a regular basis and always accepted every mouse offered! I've even thought at times his quite greedy! He hasn't eaten now for nearly 3 weeks and I'm actually concerned now but am usure if I should be concerned as my friends Corn of tens goes 3-4 weeks without eating. Reg seems happy enough although since shedding on Monday he seems to be very active almost over active if that makes any sense constantly going round his viv, in his hide, out his hide, under and over things. Am I worry over nothing? Any adivce would be greatly appreciated. Lou |

Hey there ^_^ Is Reg definitely male? Sounds like he is looking for ladies which is perfectly normal. He might be off his food for a few months now, just keep offering when he is due. |

Welcome to the forum
I agree with SilverWings. Sounds like he's looking for females, it is that time of year. Some of my female are less likely to eat at this time of year as well as my males.
A corn snake of your corns age could go months without food without losing much weight at all. I would weigh him every couple of weeks, continue to offer food when he would be due a feed but don't worry too much if he doesn't eat it. As long as he doesn't lose too much weight or look like he's losing condition then I wouldn't worry |
