The first time I spent time with my new snake he was very calm and laid back about it all, even just sitting still for a cuddle at one point. Earlier tonight, only about our 6th time together, he just wouldn't sit still! He seemed to just want to dart and dash and move like lightening in every direction. Was he just enjoying the freedom or wasn't he liking being touched? He didn't attempt to strike and wasn't rattling or seeming angry but I wonder was he actually happy and just feeling a bit hyper or genuinely wanting to be away from me. |

Absolutely normal, they have moods, just like us. My re home, Seb, loves and demands to come out, and sometimes he's perfectly happy to just sit, but another day won't settle and starts shooting around. Maybe he's coming up to shed, or just wanted to sleep, or was simply in the mood.... |

I've noticed Tekka will see/ scent something I don't know which and literally become a snake on a mission and no matter how I try and hold her/ point her in the other direction, the only thing that stops her is me moving all together. Other times nothing catches her attention or she's just in the mood to chill and fancies herself a bracelet and just wraps herself around my wrist |
