Masuka ate his mealworms!
To be honest, I ran out of good sized hoppers, tried to offer him one but he wouldn't take it so think it had grown too big. So he missed one feed, and I couldn't get more bugs till the day after. And by then, the mealies were all gone but 2!
He's munching through them now, I even seen him eat a few! Can tell when he's going to eat, he puts on his 'hunting face' as I call it haha.
Wee question, at the moment he's eating between 3-5 hoppers every 3rd day. How many mealies should I leave in for him a day? In 5 days he's had around 35 - is that far too much? The place I got him fed him on a staple of mealies, and hoppers or crix once a week.
I'd like to keep up the hoppers every few days though.
So yeah, how many mealies roughly? I don't want to starve or overfeed him! |

yay! My guys will often have up to 10 in one sitting, they are little piggys! While he's still growing I offer as many as he wants in a 5-10 minuet period. |
