Just wondering what size mice my corn should be on, he's around a year old? |

The general rule is that the mouse should be no wider than 1.5x the width of your snake at his widest point, but should leave a noticeable bump in his body once it's settled into place. For a point of reference, my yearling is on one small a week, but really age isn't a good measure of what a snake should be eating - width is the most important thing. If you could give us his length and weight, and even better a picture of him, we'd be able to help a little more, but really the 1.5x his width thing works well :) |

What are you feeding at the moment, and how often? At 1 yr my corns were on large fuzzies - one soon moved up but the other grew more slowly so took longer to move up to smalls. As above the food item should be leaving a definite (but not huge) bump, when the bump becomes hardly noticeable it's time to increase the food :) |
