Okay so I have a 6 year old, 3ft, 600g royal who is a bit underweight. The bag of rats given to me with him weigh around 44g. Are these okay or should I upgrade?

I would say they were a bit too small. A royal breeder I know of feeds his 10 - 15% of the snakes weight.
