Soooo snakey comes home tomorrow

I have been gradually getting things ready for my first corn snake while looking for a breeder.

I remembered there was a reptile shop a half hour bus journey away, and went in for a look. Just looks like a little shop selling basic stuff... until I asked if he knew anyone local who breeds corns.

To my surprise he took me and the kids through the back of the shop where there was a room lined with vivs!

And showed me two hatchlings he bred. (there were more but some sold and one was reserved). They had just been fed so wasn't able to handle or obv bring him home, but here is the little guy my son chose

Ohh I could have stayed in that room all day... there was a 3ft viv with tiny baby beardies in, two separate vivs with a huuuge beardie in each! a 3 month old chinese water dragon, a hog nose... it was awesome :D All very well looked after.

I will get a sheet with my snakes dob (21june), feed and shed dates etc etc.

My RUB is waiting, temps fine, faunarium has been ordered for when he gets a little bigger :)

It's in dumfries.

Here is Sid!

He had a little explore and hid, I've got him on paper towel but used the aspen out of his travel box which he chose to go under rather than in the hide, he stayed in there until a while ago (it took us an hour to get home so obv he needed to warm his wee self back up lol), hes come out for another explore which I accidentally interrupted by going past him - hes in the kitchen out of the way from passing human traffic so he can settle in quietly. Will leave him a couple of days now other than changing the water and paper towel if needed.
