Other half just woke me up to show me this;

Two little amels by the looks of it, which is a lovely surprise since I don't know either of their hets. If I'm right and the popped baby is caramel, then maybe there's a chance of some butters too ^_^

Never one to be outdone, the dog decided this was a fantastic moment to relieve himself all over the kitchen while we're squeeing at the babies. :/

Ooooh - hatchies! Fingers crossed for some little butters, too.

Snap on the "other issue" - whilst I was reading this, our ancient and senile cat took one look at me, and started peeing up the wall! In a living room!!! :-0 I shouted at him - he gave me a look and peed up our beautiful rose wood book case as well!!! Needles to say, he's outside now, sulking in the flower beds...

Anybody know how long it takes for them to get their scaley tail-ends out? 4 hours on, they're still just eggs with heads. I'd like to see at least one before I have to go to work o.O The one on the bottom of the pic is the other eggs that popped, so I'm very glad it survived ^_^

I think it can even be 24 h sometimes... they need to absorb all the yolk sacks ( and also something to do with the veins in the egg shells that'll need to close ? )... at least you'll have something to look forward to, when you get back home from work. :-)

My hatchlings took between 20 and 28 hours to come out of the eggs so you've got a bit of a wait

Awww, likkle pippies!!!
It varies on how long they take to fully hatch.
Most of my last clutch were all out within a 12 hour period but some can take much longer. It just depends on each wee snake. All part of the fun!

MOAR PICS! Still only 2 pips over 12 hours on. They are very orange little noses, the pics aren't great. I'm very surprised the popped egg didn't show it's face first, since it is missing some of it's shell o.O

Meet number 1, nicknamed Diddly. Fiesty little beast :) Number 2 is still being shy in his egg, although Ive peeked in and theres no sign of yolk or anything left, so I think he's just nervous. No more pips yet.

Number 2 out to play. Got all excited at this one, thought whee, a motley! Then looked closer at the belly pattern. There is one, it's just hard to see.

There aren't any more pips and it's been 30 hours (a least) since these pipped. Should I be concerned? o.O
