hey there i was just wondering if a heat mat is compulsory i have been looking at breading racks and they dont have heat mats or enything to keep them warm ?????

heat mats are pretty much always necessary!
The need a gradient of heat. for corns generally 30 degrees AT VERY HOTTEST down to 21 degrees.
for racks you can get tape/strips instead of chunky mats.

Some racks come with heating and some without which you have to buy separately I think it just depends on the rack manufacturer

I think with breeding racks heat strips or tape tends to be used rather that heat mats but i think it depends on the rack. Some form of heat will be needed to provide suitable hot end temps and a thermal gradient. With any luck some one who has a rack will com along and tell you how they have theirs set up and what they use

Most breeding racks I've seen have heat cable that's easier tbh

Female normal - Cyrus (can't think of a girl name :p)

Male charcoal - Midnight

Female amel - Lilly

Female CB13 anery 100% het sunkissed - Ariel.

Male CB13 fire 100% het stripe, 50% het hypo, anery and lavender
