My warm end is nice and toasty at 30c but my ''cool" end is 26. From research it should be around 21. My apartment is hot all over at the minute and direct sunlight etc aren't the issue, the air temp is 26.
Will my snake suffer or become ill with a cool end of this temp?

turn the main hot temp down a couple degrees. My snakes are at a comfortable 27-28 degree at the hot end and they seem fine. :) This could help.

How are you heating your viv? If it is with a mat then turning down the warm end temps will do nothing to lower the cool end temps. 30C is fine for hot end (28 is also fine) and as long as there is a gradient then things should be ok. Florida gets much hotter then here

I'm heating it via a heat mat so yeah I see turning that down won't change the cool end it will just lessen the gradient and be neutral.
