Hello all

I haven't been around for the best part of a year or so. Some of you may remember me. Some of you may not.

I wrote my motorbike off recently and going through 6/7 job changes in the past year, I had to get a few priorities sorted. It's taken me a while to get to where I want to be but during this time I had to rehome my snakes regretably.

It was a hard decision but during my circumstances I couldn't give them time they needed, catch 22 eh?

I hope to get back into snakes once I move out (soon..) and my job quietens down.

Just thought I'd pop back and say hello and share some advice.

Cheers.

What CC is the bandit? and GPZ?

I had a CBF125, only small but I had my bike test booked and I was going to P/X it for a Z800. Went and bought a car instead for now, plan on getting a Panigale 1099 when I'm 25+ due to the new license law, it's absolute cack.

I know, it sucks, I got my test in just before the change, passed in December. The bandits a 600, but restricted to 33bhp. The GPZ is a 500, that too is restricted. It was my first 'big' bike, I had a yamaha xt125 for 3 years+, fantastic bike but not up to long distance commuting. The GPZ had mechanical problems from the start but was a nice light, low bike and very forgiving to nervous riders. Very nice ride when it was working. The bandit is great, reliable and the restriction isn't even noticeable, but it's a bit big for me. Looking at getting it lowered so my feet actually touch the floor o.O

Tom, I'm so sorry to hear that you've been through so much. I know how awful it must have been for you having to rehome your snakes . You know you did the right, and only, thing for their sakes. I hope your life is on a more even keel now and that it won't be long before you can get that first special snake again.

It's good to have you back, a few of us have crept out of the woodwork recently....it seems once you become a member on here you can never fully break away .

Xxx

You've got to be very strong willed to be back on here, seeing all these gorgeous snakes and not be tempted . But then you are a stubborn so and so !
