Don't feel bad Chris. His response was totally normal. Just put yourself in his scales, with a massive hand coming into your home !! The way to do it is to just be calm and gentle. Sammy came home today! I was out and about and came home to do some tidying. I put a pizza on and as I was waiting for it, I looked behind me and he was swimming and drinking from the bowl of water I left out for him. I then noticed a fresh shed next to my computer.
Trying to catch him wasn't fun. He seems to have become very flighty at the moment. He sped around my house and even managed to jump a little. I put a mouse out for him and he had dinner a little while later - after roaming the house a little more. I've now got him in a temp viv with a couple of hides, water and I've used kitchen roll for bedding m
It's temporary until tomorrow.
He won't sit still at the moment. He's just moving around and around and poking at everything.
Aww that's great news! He was obviously looking for the escape hatch again but couldn't find it so gave up. Do you know how he escaped originally so you can prevent a recurrence?
