OMG Moppet, I cannot believe you resisted, I am SO impressed! I think you are mad, but am still impressed at your strength of willpower lol :P
Thanks
Regretting it now though. I could have had a housie of my own right now...

I think it was knowing I wasn't really ready for one (no mat ready set up to correct temps, no pinkies in the house etc) that did it. That and I wanted to do a little more research into care. Only just though! I was sooooo close to walking away with a lovely little male.
On the plus side OH seems to be feeling rather mellow about the whole idea. When I asked how he felt about me getting two housie hatchies (after explaining size etc) he said, and I quote, "Meh". I then asked "That's not a no?" And he said very clearly "It isn't a no. I'm kind of resigned to it now." That's as close as I'll ever get to permission...
Now, to wait until September or to nip down to Nottingham...
I love their eyes too, so bright and so different from corns. I also love the white bellies, the contrast between that and the olive colour is just gorgeous. And I love the shine...the size...their little faces...the eye stripes...in fact, pretty much everything! So gorgeous!
Haha Moppet, I get the feeling this is going to be a very long 3 months, if you make it that long.
Cheers Hissy! |

Got a heat cable set up for them, statted and stable temp. Is 29-30 degrees ok? It's what I read on most of the research I did but just thought I'd check So excited
Soon to be the proud owner of two little olive wormies I still blame figs and mort for showing me just how gorgeous their housies are |
