This may sound silly. But I've got a self built wooden vivarium on the base is an extra layer of chipboard. Then I have layed out pads used for children's beds. On top of this I have layed out megazorb.

My snake has burrowed under the padded sheet. So my main worry is snake poop without me realising and then it decaying and damaging the wood.

Hope I don't sound like a fool.

I would have thought if the chip board isn't sealed then the moisture from the poo will damage the chip board over time
