Deeeeeeper substrate :P Seriously, pile it up on the cold side to a good couple of inches - they love burrowing about in it... and rearranging it... and flicking it in the water bowl... and going in and out of the water bowl constantly to get all the rest of the substrate soaking wet so you have to change it again...

It is a Truly magnificent Bannerany snakey would be both proud and humbled to take up residence beneath it.....
Now it is customary to have a little 'Welcome Home Party'on such happy occasions-I'm guessing it's the same up there in the 'Frozen North'? you know a few cup cakeys,a sausage roll or two,and perhaps a bevvy or eleventeen-just to wet the snakey's head
