Finally I have an occupant for my vx24
Well he may have to grow some before he gets free run of the viv - so tiny
A couple of photos taken on transfer to his 5L RUB

Now have the waiting game before I can have another hold, the next week is going to drag.

Moppet - I kept looking at all the photos of housies on here and decided (mainly by some being for sale very close to me) that was what was going to ocupy my empty vx24 viv and the waiting is unbearable - I keep seeing him looking out of his hide
Hissyfit and smart bunny - no definate name yet, but undecided between Ludo and Hoggle
every one else - thanks for looking and the lovely comments

Hissyfit - I new they were going to be small, but was shocked at how tiny they were, got to handle dad and see some other fabulous snakes that the breeder had
The guy had sand boas, and seeing some in the flesh has got me really liking these guys too
I am going to be so paranoid that he will escape, especially after the guy showed me a tiny gap one of his adult males had escaped through

I know, it's a shock when you see the size of them! I had intended to put my little one into a 24" monkfield....he is in the monkfield at the moment, but inside a 7"x7"x7" exo terra breeder box and I think he'll be in there for quite some time

I have transferred mine into a 5L RUB (12"x7"x5") from the little plastic box (7"x4"x3") he arrived in, and like you this is inside my vx24 viv.
Made the mistake of putting aspen in and when checking the temperature at the hot end it had got up to 33.5 centigrade inside the RUB.
The heat mat is set at 29 centigrade, monitored with stat and temp probe on it outside the RUB.
Added an additional temp probe in the RUB, under the aspen, and it was this probe which registered 33.5
Have now got rid of the aspen and put kitchen paper down and the temp is down to 29
Getting far more stressed with this little fella than either of my corns
