Every so often I give these 2 a shower and take a (s)nail brush to their shells make them nice and clean.

And they weigh in at a respectable half kilo between them.

Sheldon

Michelle

The Helix Aspersa are also growing nicely. Only problem is they produce so much poo. It's bad. Can't wait to put them in with the GALs as they have worm assisted cleaning.

I have one, he's called Brian and nowhere near that size (and I thought he was big lol) he is only 6-7months old though

I use a softer toothbrush to pamper him haha.

There are lots of 'garden snails' but helix aspersa are one of them. These are captive bred for size to make better escargot. The Gals are a few years old now but are still growing, they've added about a centimetre to their shells since coming out of hibernation a few weeks ago.

are you going to eat them? Lol

That's a lot of babies though, is the care the same as the GALS? I've only today realised that people keep other type of snails as pets (I ended up with mine by accident lol)
