Hi all, I am hoping to pick up or atleast reserve a Taiwan beauty snake tomoro, I am aware they grow to a large size when adults, I am just wondering if anyone here has an adult and if so what size viv they use for them

Roooooaaaar!!

She's quite happy in a 48x18x18" at the mo When I finish shifting stuff around she can move into her into her 4x2x3'  |

Is 4x2x3 the biggest u look to get? How quickly has urs grown?

If she doesn't get monstrous, I think she'll be fine in that size, yep. She grew surprisingly quick - much, much quicker than a corn. She was already around 4ft long after a year. She slowed down a little after that; She'll be 3 in September this year and is almost 7ft
I have a male VBB too. I dont know whether its because he is male or maybe he had a different feeding schedule, but he hasn't grown nearly as fast or as bulky as Rumpel (she isn't fat mind, just big!)
Here she is when I got her back in Jan 2011

Ok kool, I wasn't sure when I first heard about the size if would be to big but I loved her/ him so much I can't resist and from what can tell are fairly easy snakes to keep and done get very big girth wise, just trying to work out where to put a 4x2x3 lol, imagine will get custome one with shelving to clim etc when the time comes :). They are gorgeous snakes, was going to get another corn but not any more lol....well mayb next year :) |
