Absolutely gorgeous markings on him. I love watching pics of other peoples snakes having their dinner as mine will only eat under cover of darkness currently. It still surprises me that other places on the internet go "oh, only a normal" and I honestly think they have absolutely gorgeous markings

So good to see them both feeding Andria . You got some lovely pics of it, especially the 1st ones of both Albion and Robin. Looks like a big bump working its was down Albion . Was that the medium mouse the vet suggested?

That's great about the large mice . As long as they aren't more than 1.5 times wider than the widest part of him he'll be fine. And I'm really pleased that you are going to feed him regularly, rather than following the rather bizarre advice from your vet to feed him when he looks hungry ! I'm assuming you're feeding him weekly?

I can't imagine trying to get medicine into a dead mouse's mouth . Well done for doing it.

And it's brilliant that you fed them separately, out of their viv . Just leave a bit of time, say about half an hour if possible, before you return them....just so they settle down and aren't still in 'feeding mode' when you put them back together.

You're doing a great job with them Andria .

Xxx

Oooooh poor things look so skinny in those pics - but their tums are bound to be very happy now! I'm sure you'll soon get them fighting fit Andria :D

That sounds just right Andria ....although I must admit I can't wait until they are separated, and I know you must feel the same.

Have you put in a moist hide for them? Bearing in mind Albion's state last time it would be better to raise the humidity for him (only temporarily whilst he is in blue obviously) to try to prevent it happening again. Other ways are a damp flannel draped over the warm hide and moving the water bowl over to the warm side.

Good photos and has made me feel a bit better about the size of mice that I have been told to give my snake as slink is about the same size as Albion looks and the mice are the same size. Thanks for sharing :)

I do hope Albion sheds ok this time. I totally understand why you can't raise the humidity in the viv they share at the moment. IF he doesn't, have a look in the Shedding stickie....I've added an extra method to remove retained shed that is less stressful than a bath, it entails putting Albion in a tub which has a damp towel in it.

I do hope Robin's chest clears up soon....I had hoped it would have begun to improve by now .

Yay!

Sorry, I had forgotten about Robin's bad chest when I suggested raising the humidity :( Has Albion got it off OK now?
