I have been making a salt dough hide with my little girl. Been really fun. Have done a coat of black poster paint with a coat of varnish.

The black was a bit blotchy so have re done it with a lighter shade of grey poster paint. Should I re varnish this again of pva glue?

Or would it be fine to leave it
