heres what i done with cornelious' viv, hope you like :). a few plants on the shelves and it will be complete.

Interesting did you cut slots in the backdrop? have you used silicone?how have you ground the edges of the glass so they are not sharp??

yes i cut slots in the backdrop. i work for a glass company so i UV bonded the glass shelves to the viv, i also polished the edges of the glass and toughened them to make them safe for my snake :)

That is looking fantastic. No, fantastic doesn't cover it - amazing! I have the same hide that you do on the left (I actually have 2 as my contrary madam of a snake needs one on the warm and the cold side of her viv - all 18" of it, lol!)

Very nice -just one thing - the glass shelves. Snakes find glass really difficult to crawl on, there's nothing to grip, and they just wriggle in one place. I was planning to but blobs and strips of aquarium sealant on the piece of glass, I was going to put over the warm end, to make grips for them.

Ah, good one. That will look cool as well, I thought about reptile carpet, but grass mat will be much easier to clean, should he divide to , erm, mark his territory :-)
