I use lignocell-its soft and absorbent and little guys seem to like burrowing in it.I always feed my guys out of the viv. |

I was using aspen but moved onto lignocel yesterday and so far lignocel wins!! |

I keep young snakes on kitchen roll. I use aspen for my adults. I feed in a seperate rub. Hope that helps. |

Hopefully this link on Substrate will help, although it doesn't include the more modern options. A lot of us use either Hemcore or Aubiouse , a horse bedding.
There is also what's been mentioned.... Lignocel , which this thread discusses, Megazorb and Repticard.
I must admit that I'm like ScalySituation....I use Hemcore at the moment but am probably going to change to Lignocel when I need new substrate. It's more expensive than other stuff, but sounds worth it.

Aubios for me snakes seam happy with it as well i get it from a local shop and its a tenner for 20kg anf lasts agaes easy to spot clean tho i am thinking of trying lignocel when i have finished the bag i have at the momeny |
