Hoped no-one had noticed me sneak back in Figs .....although how people can miss my essay length comments I don't know !
I'm so glad she is behaving as she is, showing energy and attitude . I'm no expert but I would think that you should treat it like when you first got her....leave her for about a week to get over the stress of everything and get used to her old home again and then feed her before trying to do any handling. What was she eating before she went missing? She is going to be a handful when you do start taking her out again, but nothing you can't handle with time and patience.

Goodness, hope she is ok and continues to get better!
I'd leave her at least a few days before trying a feed, and make it a very small one in case she has any internal injuries, although by now they would hopefully be apparent.
Might be a good idea to stick some Reptoboost or Critical Care formula in her water though x |

Brill,thanks troops
She is still looking good today; even went for a mooch round her tub instead of just hiding. Good girl! Looking good I think Hopefully her adventure will have kick-started her appetite - fussy little one since she first hatched... |

That's great to hear Figs . It will be interesting to see how much her behaviour and feeding response might have changed after all of this. I do hope that she might be a bit less fussy now that she is going to be offered food instead of having to search for it, like she must have done while she was missing!

Ah no poor Sprinkles! Hopefully the feral lifestyle will have given her an appetite. She certainly looks well for her adventures, bearing in mind how cold its been this winter! |
