So as I said in my other post, Phoenix had his first feed today which went really well even after having him for just four days. I was looking at his feed record and he was being fed every 7 days. Is this right? as he is only 7g (I weighed him today before he fed) and I checked the rough feeding guide on the forum, and really it should be around 4-5 days. So Would it be better to start feeding him more regularly instead of once a week? |

I always feed my hatchling every 7 days till they have had 2 sheds and then feed every 5 days after that once I know they are feeding well or when I sell them I always tell the new owner feed them in 7 days then again 7 days after that and then every 5 days till they are on small mice but then I always try to start mine off on big pinkies but really its up to you some small snakes won't take food every 5 days |
