So this is probably nothing, but today I got Ghost out to feed her and some of her scales near her head end look slightly weird.. I'm not entirely sure how to describe it so here's a photo:
What is this / What could have caused it?
Thanks in advance :)! |

It looks pretty normal to me. Apollo has lots of scales like this. The folds aren't all in a straight line so it isn't likely to be fat folds or 'spare tyres' that they sometimes get. |

Hmm I don't think so! Ill have a check in her vivarium, she's got a log in there with some holes in so ill make sure none of those are big enough for her to stick her head in.
Thanks for the comments! |

At least she doesn't do it as much as my girl Kali, the scales on the back of her neck are bent very badly, almost scraped. Maybe I should pad everything in her viv haha, she's so accident prone! It's like she's tried to squeeze in somewhere and reversed out. |

Haha she sounds like a clumsy snake! Maybe Ghost is a bit more accident prone than I realised. |

They looked as though they were getting worse and starting to flake off and I'm worried her skin might be too dry. I placed her in a bath for around 10 minutes and provided her with a moss hide. Do you think this will help? |
