My younger corn I had for about a year now have used sock trick and regular handling (5mins max) always leave wen in blue and 48 hrs after feeding. but nothing seems to work with him he has his good day and his bad but starting to think he'll never feel safe being handled :(

any other advice or tips

Is his set up 100 percent correct? Is he aggressive or flighty?

1.0 western hognose (hero)
1.0 phantom reverse pin dal brindle crested gecko (goyle)
0.2 red dal red harly (sprite) 99% full pin Harley crested gecko (TuLong)
0.0.3 miomantis paykullii
0.0.3 Bombina orientalis (oriental fire bellied toad)
0.3 fancy mice (snap, crackle and pop)
1.0 yorkshire terrier (jasper)
2.1 cats (echo, shadow and pokey)

i would suggest longer handling sessions- when you get yr snake out, give it time to realise yr not going to do anyhting scary and that all thats going to happen is that you'll let it slide from hand to hand and maybe over yr lap but it can't go anywhere e,lse. after a while it should relax and just sit.
if you get it out two or three times a week, each time for about half an hour in a calm quiet environment, eventually it should settle a bit. it could (probably will) take several weeks of this, if not a few months, but in the end it should at least trust that you're not going to hurt it/eat it and put up with you a bit more.

and you thought there was no such thing as a stupid question....

yeah thinks its learning that striking doesn't work lol he does seem fine wen out of his viv just doesn't like bee picked up/disturbed i think and am handling more longer now he doesnt seem to mind it
