Still making plans for Rosies Grown up Viv. I have been considering the bacground and was thinking of making something similar to this type of screen.

I was wondering if there were any problems with Willow, Reed, Bamboo or brushwood being toxic to snakes?

I have bamboo in a couple of my vivs so I know you are ok with that one and as far as I know it is just pine and cedar that you have to be wary of but if you look at this post I am sure it will tell you a lot more

Thanks all - Don't worry, I wasn't planning on buying one of those. They were just for illustrative purposes.

Although I am now postponing this for about a year, I am now considering a role of Bamboo edging.

There are cheeper places but that was the best photo. To help secure it in the Viv I was going to use a thin piece of wood. I know pine is toxic but would it be ok if varnished?
