So after saturday night feed i left patrick all day saturday to digest his meal went to work sunday was gone all day until 10pm came back tried to handle him but he wouldnt let me near him so changed water came back yesterday and again he was like lightening wouldnt let me touch him. So this morning opened his lid and again went so fast hit the side wall then went under his hide.... im really worried am i doing something wrong? Or should i just start again changing water everyday and slowly handle him. Im so sad because if you saw my photos we wouldnt leave me alone saturday :(

He's just being a normal corn. If you waited for him to come to you, you would be waiting forever. A lot if corns start out timid just slower lay pick him up he will soon settle once out x

has he shed with you yet? it could be that he is getting ready for a shed as they do get more jumpy around that time, he might also just need a little longer to settle in. You could try the sock trick, where you put a clean sock in your waist band for 24hr and put it in his faun so he can get used to your scent. he will calm down with time just takeit slow with him you will have many years together so plenty of time for handling :-)
