Okay this may be a long post, i apologise in advance.

This is lance (Sir Lancelot ) he was given to my mum when I was little and she gave him to me about a year ago :) he means loads to me because the person who gave him to my mum was the person who taught me to ride and I learnt everything from him. He had 2 Shetlands and a donkey. We had to move lance from his yard because someone who owned an Arab stallion ( he is called turbo and was a. Lovely looking horse, shame she didnt care for him very well and treated him bad) started abusing lance over his stable when we weren't there and eventually when we used to go to his stable door he would got to the far corner and look petrified. We then caught her hitting lance across the nose and shouting at him and stuff when he did nothing wrong... Anyway, about 2 years ago jimmy (the person who gave us lance) passed away and lance is something we have to remind us of him and stuff... He was a great man and taught me all I know, I miss him loads and wish he was still here.

He is a great horse, a bit cheeky and doesn't like schooling at all and will only play up in the school but on a hack he is an angel!

Sorry about my really long story... Even weirder ill find a picture of his marking on his head... It's the shape of a "J" and it started looking more like the letter about a year and a half ago...

Or it looks like a dog... But I like to think of it as being the letter "J"

Oh gosh this is gonna be a picture filled one!!!!!!!!!!

First up is my favourite little horsey in the world. My 8y/0 ISH hunter Keara. She's unfortunately out with a tendon at the minute so fingers crossed everybody that she makes a miraculous comeback next season!

Then there's my sister's hunter Ginger. Thats me playing cowboys on him yesterday!

And doing what he does best out hunting.....!

And here's Starvin' Marvin who was rescued in may and is now hunting away not a bother on him!

And We can't forget Dinky/ The Dink! This chap was bought from Smithfield horse fair. (Notorious for being...not very nice!) We've had him about 6 years now!

He was on loan to a family who are big into mounted games but he's back with us for the winter. Here he is in the kitchen of my friends yard!

Lupi lou that photo was taken by a professional at a time when we were jumping regularly.
Your Jack is gorgeous, I love his long mane and please put some pics of you jumping - this thread was started for every one to post pics.
We weren't always a good combination, we started round 1'9'' and he would regularly put the anchors on - it took years to achieve that stage.
Lozzy - Mickey is looking fab in your photos, looks to really enjoy his jumping

Jealous of the water pics, would love to get mine to the beach at some point and Starvin Marvin is a stunner.

Thanks Blackcat! That's the very first time i've heard of somebody calling Marv a stunner lol. The big square head on him! He square trots behind too. I'm assuming he was driven around the roads for his first couple of years! The beach is a godsend alright! Great for the legs after hunting/jumping!

Thanks for the well wishes for poor Keara! She's been scanned, done her box rest and been blistered. So fingers crossed when i get her scanned again maybe at the end of feb or march there'll be a marked improvement! Your guys are lovely! Loving the TB x :) And I see you have somewhat of a Dinky too!! lol.

I actually like his big square head and it is amazing what can be achieved with schooling to remove problems caused by early driving careers.
My fella did a tendon early in his career, but not as bad as Keara by the sounds of it, made a full recovery and went on and did one BE Novice. Always a long slow process to get them back into work, I do hope all goes well as she too is lovely
He also went through a period of suffering with azoturia brought on by stress, not something I had anticipated with him - taught me alot regards his temperament.
My dinky is not as dinky as yours, he is approx 13.1hh - going to be interesting when I get round to backing him.
Horses - don't you just love them.

What a brilliant pics!

Lance is gorgeous, and Jack - especially on the second pics, just want to give him a hug!

Lozzy, Mickey's a beauty, you're so much braver than me, I really admire eventing. All I've ever done competition wise is couple of shows, and that was many years ago. Since then, I've just been a happy hacker.

Blackcat, they're all beautiful. Nice action shot, too. Makes me feel embarrassed I didn't really do that much with mine.

Katie, I hope Keara recovers soon, love the pics in the sea. That's my next thing to do, ride on the beach. Not with mine - one's too young, the other too old - but I'm riding my friend's pony atm, and she's got a trailer, so hoping we get to go soon. Got to ride on Dartmoor though, which is really nice.

Lol best of luck with that! Make sure you get it on video :) I backed Dink in the field one day, just jumped up on him. He was never properly broken but judging from where he's coming from he received his fair amount of hardship! As did Marv who we found tied to a telegraph pole! I had a thread about him on here a while back. Never heard of azoturia,... I must give it a google!

Never too young or old for the beach Razee :) All the breakers in our yard go down. Its great experience for them! Its almost a certainty that the first encounter with having to walk over piles of seaweed will have you sitting on your ass on the sand though! lol. The sea is really good for stiffness too if your older lady would tolerate it! Of course thats only practical if you live beside the beach and i have a limited/ non existent knowledge of british geography haha
