Over the last few days I was alittle unsure as to whether or not he was getting a dull look, so I kept checking he's eye's but they didn't seem any different. Then tonight whilst having his evening stroll I noticed his eye's have now got a blue tinge to them. I'm just hoping I get to witness it. So would I be right in thinking that his eye's will clear and 4-5 days later he'll shed ? |

Yes, his eyes and skin will cloud up and then he will go back to looking normalish and then 3 to maybe 8 days after he should shed and then be nice and shiney again |

Wow, when my 3 go into blue you know it because you don't see them at all as they don't leave their hides until they go to shed! I'm surprised he was out for a stroll, but then all snakes are different :) |

It would be great if you got to watch him shed. It's an awesome sight. Look forward to some photos of a new, fresh looking snake! |

They stay blue eyed for about 2 - 3 days, then they clear, and mine don't usually hang about, they shed second or third day, after they've cleared.
You'll have a nice, new, shiny snake soon :-) |

My snakes almost always shed the night after their eyes go clear again! :)
As for being in blue and handling, all of my snakes but one seem to be fine with it. The other, Jake, isn't very comfortable with being handled at any time but when he's in blue he's extra grumpy.
I'd just check what your snake is like and whether or not he seems stressed out about it :) |

They feel a bit vulnerable when in blue due to not being able to see properly. I prefer to leave them in peace in the hides. I do lift the hide for a quick check but only handle if they have cleared and are active. |

Same here, I tend to leave them alone, as they just hide and sulk anyway. Once their eyes have gone blue, I don't feed, either, until they've shed. |

All of my snakes hide when they are blue, I don't see them until they shed!
I don't handle most of mine when they are in shed as I don't think they like to be touched based on their behaviour. The only one who doesn't care is Aurora |

As above, mine hide so I leave them alone mostly, but I always check on them now and again in their hides, and as Corno eats no matter what I still get her out if it's feed day. She always tail rattles at me when I go to get her out if she's in blue but is fine once out and will eat even if her eyes are totally blue lol. Ember won't eat even once she hits the slightly dull stage. I must have lazy snakes - it's usually about a week after their eyes clear that they shed for me! (I think they were quicker when younger) |
