so basically I attempted to feed my new snake on Sunday as that's when I was told was feeding day, but he showed no interest, I put him into a separate tub for the feed, I'm just wondering when should I attempt another feeding?

age is only a few months, weight not to sure, only had him 5 days, so obviously he is still settling in, which I think is why he never took the pinkie, I was gonna attempt another feed 2moz but is that too soon, should I give him another day or 2

It's best to give at least 7 days between offering feeds. Just let him settle in for now with no handling or disturbances, although it's fine to do water changes. Hopefully he'll feed for you next time, just needs time to get used to his new home :-) What sort of set up is he in, viv/faun size ?

I'm not sure if he is going into shed, as he has been hiding away for the past 2 days, not even coming out at night.
