Hi my corn hasnt eaten for 3months & has developed a lump about 5cm from his opening.I have taken him to the vets who did an xray but could find nothing wrong no tumors or abcess.any one got any ideas as i am at a loss.

Sounds like it might be a blockage preventing him from pooping (and also ruining his appetite)

Try a warm bath for 10 mins x

1.0 western hognose (hero)

A specialist exotics vet would spot an impaction a million miles away if there was a lump as everyone on here thought it straight away, first thing to come to mind. Did you go to a reptile specialist?

What kind of lump though, just a general swelling of that area or an actual lump protruding from only a certain part of the body? A picture would be good, you can upload them to photobucket and post them on here as it could be anything from carrying eggs to a flesh wound but for a vet to find nothing when clearly there is a lump is a bit rubbish of them.

the snake had to be put to sleep .vet gave him a biopsy he had a tumor

the lump was there for about a month. snake was 12yrs old
