So the first time i heard this i thought its a wind up, scenting the pinkies with marmite! no way that would work!, but then my mate explained that the hatchlings seem to go for it. i figured they must try it and be greatful for anything else apart from it that they start eating lol well i am giving it a go as we speak so fingers crossed.
So has anyone had success with Marmite be good to know ? |

Never tried it but the salt and yeast content would worry me. Have you tried all the other normal techniques? Sounds as if I'm preaching.....really don't mean to, just not very good at tact with words. |

If you use it only for scenting, not too much salt / yeast should be left on the pinky anyway ^^ |

aye thanks been trying all sorts for nearly 3 months now, i will worry about that once they are eating but dont want to sound like im loosing faith but prob a good chance they will not be eaten anyway, and as said it only for scenting and used in tiny amount. i will pop a update tomorrow as the non feeders are in blacked out tubs so wont disturb them, however one of the fussy eater i can see has not eaten again :( |
